Ward Kinne grew up playing lacrosse in the 1970s in his hometown of Watertown, New York, just north of Syracuse. After playing as an attackman and long stick midfielder in high school , he didn’t stay involved with the sport, but when his sons became interested in 2005 his fire for lacrosse was re-ignited!
Ward has served the Jags at every level of coaching since 2010, starting as a JV assistant, then as the freshman and JV coach, and as a varsity assistant in 2016, when the Jags went to the LAKC championship game. He is honored to be asked to be the Varsity coach, and is committed to continuing the level of excellence which has been built by many great coaches, players, and families since the Jags club was founded in 2002.
Ward is a Kansas City business owner. He and his wife Christy own Heritage Advisors, LLC, a private financial advisory firm in Stilwell, Kansas. They have raised their three sons to adulthood here in the Kansas City area, and are glad to call it home. In addition to their business, and Ward’s role with the Jags, Ward and Christy spend as much time as possible with their family, volunteering in their church, various not for profit organizations, and as personal life coaches.

Jack started playing lacrosse during his freshman year in high school, and absolutely fell in love with the sport! He started as a FOGO/Middie his first year and then moved to Attack. Jack played year-round, travelling during the summer seasons with the Great Plains team, True Lacrosse, and FCA Lacrosse. He also had the opportunity to play in tournaments on the East Coast numerous times. After graduating high school he wanted to stay involved with the Jags team, so he coached the next year.
After a few years away from the sport, Jack helped coach youth league clinics before joining the coaching staff at Olathe South as an assistant JV coach.
Jack's goal as a coach is to help the players love the sport as much as he does!
